David Henson, guitar & vocals

David Henson is a singer/songwriter who has national songwriting releases including 24 published or contracted works. He has written for national release with Triune Music, Nashville, TN; Purifoy Publishing, Louisville, KY; Star Song Publishing, Houston, TX; Bread and Honey Publishing, Los Angeles, CA; Word Inc., Waco, TX; and regional release with Cotton Country Music, Lubbock, TX. His song "I'll Be Home" was on Triangle Records’ Grammy-nominated album by Cynthia Clawson, “My Finest Hour.” He has written advertising jingles for many companies and performed throughout Oklahoma and Texas. In 2012, he was awarded the SongWriters Association Norman (SWAN) Above and Beyond Award for his work with local singer/songwriters, and in 2018, he received the SWAN Hall of Fame Award. His greatest songwriting influences are Willis Alan Ramsey, John Prine, and Jackson Browne.
