Chris Walsh is the man in the hat with the big, deep notes. Raised in Norman, Chris picked up the bass guitar more than 10 years ago and has backed up numerous local bands and musicians live and in the studio, including the Daddy Love Band, Big Stick, Jim Madsen, and numerous singer/songwriters in the SongWriters Association Norman (SWAN). In 2012, Chris was awarded the SWAN Above and Beyond Award for his hard work with local musicians, including stage and gear tech at the annual Norman Music Festival and other live music events. He has an extensive collection of rock performances and documentaries, and his favorite bands are Rush, Steely Dan, and Dire Straits.
