The Oklahoma HōM Series is operated by a team of musicians, enthusiasts, and fundraisers who are passionate about bringing diverse musical opportunities to Oklahoma. Get to know our team today!

Eric Walschap - Operations, coordination, fundraising.

Eric is a Professor of Artist Management and Music at the University of Oklahoma, the Program Director of the Jazz in June Festival, the Administrative Coordinator/Manager of the OU School of Music, a GRAMMY®-voting member of the Recording Academy, the Chair-Elect of the Norman Arts Council Roundtable, and was voted Oklahoma's Music Professional of the Month, Feb 2021, by the Oklahoma Dept. of Commerce and Oklahoma Film and Music Office for the creation and success of the Resonance Series. Eric has given lectures on talent buying and/or music at the National Endowment for the Arts Research Lab, universities across the country, and currently serves on three music-related Board of Directors while advising another as a consultant. He loves spending time with his wife Jennifer, son Leif, and flying off scooters into sidewalks, breaking as many bones as possible in his hands to end his music career so he can focus on his passion: The HōM Series.

Michael Bendure - Director of Development.

Michael is the host and producer of Tonic: The Funky Groove Show (KGOU FM) and the 40 Minutes of Funk podcast, and brings nearly 30 years of professional communication and fundraising experience to the team. He is an avid painter, musician, runner, and devourer of science fiction books.

Carol Jarrett - Communications.
With over 5 years of experience in social media marketing, Carol is an avid lover of TikTok trends and bringing nonprofit missions to the light of a community. She is an opera singer with a passion for marketing and her adorable rescue dog.

Krystyn Richardson - Communications, fundraising.
Krystyn is a Norman, Oklahoma–based strategist and creative consultant with over 25 years of experience guiding campaigns, communications, and big-picture planning. As the founder of BOLD Multimedia, she brings strategy, logic, collaboration, and follow-through together with her team, turning ideas into action. She likes sushi.

Zack Smith - Director of Development.

Zack was raised in Norman, where he has been a music performer and educator, teaching saxophone, piano, guitar, and bass, for the past 18 years. He also enjoys cat naps.

 

Grant Wells - Fundraising, operations.

Grant has over 20 years of experience as a music educator, performer, arranger, and composer.  He also likes disc golf, pickleball, and walking his three dogs.
