ABOUT US
The Oklahoma House of Music (HōM) Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides the HōM Series, the state's premier music residency series bringing the world's most successful musicians to cities across the state to give talks, Q&A's, masterclasses, concerts, and more. In addition to the traditional lecture format, the series is committed to providing exciting and unique public events throughout Oklahoma communities, having already held hundreds of events at local libraries, public schools, non-profits organizations, businesses, and partnering organizations.

Founded in 2020, and previously called The Resonance Series, the HōM Series is now an independent organization that has hosted nearly 100 guests, over 50 of which are Grammy award winners, and hundreds of events, impacting tens of thousands of Oklahomans. As of 2025, the series also provides free private lessons from these artists to students and members of the community as part of a new initiative, providing a truly unique educational opportunity.
The series proudly brings diverse artists in every area, from pop to metal, country to hip-hop, jazz to funk, R&B to EDM, and everything in- between. Culturally diverse guests include both nationally- and internationally-recognized artists from around the globe. Elite masters of instruments from the electric guitar, drum set, and voice, to the gankogui, cajon, and shakuhachi all provide guidance on alternate careers to simply being a "superstar" musician; including producing, engineering, mixing, mastering, composing, arranging, becoming a musical director, artistic director, and more, directly from the superstars themselves.
